Broward Health Imperial Point is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support Behavioral Health services in the 6FL unit. The role focuses on observing patients, assisting with personal care, and following established nursing care plans to support daily living activities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and BLS certification through AHA or ARC. A Level II background screening is mandatory.

Summary:
Assists nursing staff in observing and monitoring behavior and physical state of patients with emotional and/or behavioral problems. Performs basic patient care tasks including assisting patients with personal hygiene and other regular daily living activities in accordance with nursing care plans. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and encourages their participation in recreational and other therapeutic activities.

• This position will require successful completion of a Level II Background Screening
