Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a PRN Mental Health Technician and Driver for outpatient services. You will provide direct patient care and transportation to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders, supporting the therapeutic milieu and safety of patients.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, documenting activities, and transporting patients as needed. A valid Texas driver license, CPR certification, and Assaultive Behavior training are required

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License.
• CPR certification required.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior training prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and transportation for patients.
• Monitor patients' progress and report to treatment team.
• Maintain the therapeutic milieu and ensure safety.
• Complete transportation reports and driver logs.
• Transport patients to/from hospital and other locations in a van or bus.
