Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Kentucky seeks a dedicated Mental Health Technician to support patients and work with licensed clinicians, addressing their physical, social and behavioral needs with compassion.

You will document patient goals, assist with treatment plans, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu on the unit. GED or high school diploma and direct patient care experience are preferred; Nursing Assistant Training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine non-acute physical, behavioral and mental care under licensed staff.
• Document patient goals and treatment plans clearly.
• Adapt care to individual patient needs and goals.
• Maintain the unit's therapeutic milieu and ensure proper shift handoffs.
