Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a patient care assistant in a mental health hospital setting.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• De-escalation Training Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures supplies and equipment for patient care are readily available and organized.
• Responds to patient and family requests promptly.
• Accurately monitors and records patient information, test results and stats.
• Provides care to assigned patients including activities of daily living and non-medication pain management.
• Follows patient care policies and sterile technique.
