Copper Hills Youth Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide supportive supervision and positive role modeling for adolescents aged 12–17 in a 24/7 residential setting. You will document behaviors, support daily goals, and assist with therapy and education sessions.

The role requires effective teamwork, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage stressful situations. A background check is required, and the job offers a sign-on bonus and shift differentials.

Responsibilities

Copper Hills Youth Center is a 24/7 secure residential treatment center (behavioral health) for male and female adolescents aged 12 through 17. We counsel, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities.

Job Description:

Behavioral Health Technicians serve as a positive role model for youth while providing close supervision and documenting behaviors. Must be a team player and recognize the importance of this position to positive student outcomes. Will ensure that students are meeting defined daily goals, including hygiene, unit activities, education &therapy meetings, etc. Will intervene during student crisis as necessary by using verbalde-escalation skills and other personal safety techniques. Facilitation of group interactions and ensuring students are behaving according tostandards.By using positiveverbal skills,educate studentson appropriate behavior and possible consequences, and enact consequences if needed.

New Hire Sign On Bonus of $1,500. Range: up to $23.00 (including shift differentials - depending on education/experiene/certifications/etc.) Shift is for: Day Wrap is - Fri-Mon 0700-1500
