Austin Oaks Hospital, located in South Austin, Texas, seeks Mental Health Technicians for evening shifts (3p-11p) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse. Responsibilities include creating a safe, therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and assisting with activities of daily living.

Flexibility for reassignment to units serving varied populations, including male adults and those who are dually diagnosed, is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year prior psychiatric experience preferred.
• CPR Certification.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience

Licensure/Certification
