Job summary

The Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, OH is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator and patient care support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and perform delegated direct care according to the treatment plan.

Responsibilities include vitals, data collection, unit coordination, and documentation in the EMR while ensuring timely communication with the RN and care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with one year of direct patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required and enrolled as an active student in a relevant degree program (nursing, psychology, social work or related).
• CPR Certification must be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical measurements and vital signs.
• Perform intake/output, collect specimens and prepare for lab pickup.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility.
• Document in EMR with RN co-signature and report changes to RN.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and participate in quality improvement.
