Job summary

Arrowhead Behavioral Health, a 48-bed psychiatric hospital in Maumee, Ohio and part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Tech Per Diem. The role supports patients through safety checks, groups, and daily one-on-one sessions, with day or night shifts available.

We offer night and weekend shift differentials. Education requirements include a Bachelor's or Associate in psychology/sociology, Ohio CDCA, or related experience; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or sociology from an accredited institution.
• Associate degree in psychology/sociology with related experience.
• Valid Ohio CDCA with related experience.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program or social services.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level role; customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks on patients.
• Facilitate educational groups.
• Assist nurses with admission and discharge.
• Provide one-on-one sessions with patients daily.
