Job summary

The Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mental Health Tech to provide direct care to children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric disorders, ensuring patient safety and well-being on the unit. The role supports observation, group activities and daily living skills in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, milieu management, documentation and support of therapeutic care plans.

Qualifications

• Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
• CPR certification (may be acquired after hire)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Team work
• Hours: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating Weekends Required)
• Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations
