An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in patient care and support R.N. staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Assists R.N. in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, providing daily community meetings and assisting in various procedures. Works closely with the R.N. and reports any changes in patient’s mood or behavior in a timely fashion. When necessary assists the R.N. and unit staff with pre-admission screening calls from referral sources. Also provides information about the program to callers. Patient population ranges from adult through geriatrics.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (12+ college credits in humanities or social services required for Philadelphia work locations).
Experience:
1 year of related experience preferred.
