Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design seeks an Operations Coordinator to support the Office of Mental Health. You will help implement confidential services, including counseling support, workshops, and outreach programs, while maintaining a welcoming and confidential environment.

You will conduct initial student screenings, facilitate urgent interventions and referrals, and provide intake support under licensed counselors' direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• At least one year of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and confidential environment.
• Conduct initial student contact screenings to assess immediate needs and risk level.
• Facilitate urgent clinical interventions, appropriate referrals, scheduling, and intake support.
• Provide empathetic, direct support to students in distress, under the direction of licensed clinical counselors.
• Provide high-level administrative support and participate in clinical staff meetings.
