SCAD in Savannah, GA is seeking an associate mental health counselor to join a licensed, compassionate team providing confidential services to help students navigate challenges and thrive. The role includes individual and group counseling, skill-building workshops, and outreach programs.
You'll consult with academic departments, residence life, the registrar, and other offices regarding student mental health, maintain an active caseload, and develop psychoeducational programs.
As an associate mental health counselor, you’ll be part of a licensed, compassionate team that offers a range of confidential services to help students navigate challenges and thrive, including individual and group counseling, skill-building workshops, and outreach programs. You'll also regularly consult with academic departments, SCADhome (residence life and housing), the office of the registrar, academic administration, admission, and other internal departments regarding student-centered mental health issues.
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
