The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to support the Guard's health care team. Under supervision, you will collect and record patient data, counsel and treat individuals with personal, behavioral, mental health, or substance abuse concerns, and provide bedside care in hospitals.

This role offers paid training, a structured path from Basic Training to Advanced Individual Training, and opportunities to pursue civilian hospital careers after service.

Formación

• Student-friendly skill focus: patient care techniques and emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively under stressful conditions and in team settings.
• Interest in chemistry, biology, psychology, general science, and algebra.
