Responsibilities include planning services, supervising staff performance, and implementing corrective steps to improve mental health outcomes, with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work or behavioral science field required.
• Licensed to practice psychology or social work in the State.
• Experience coordinating and administering mental health service delivery systems.
• Knowledge of management/supervision techniques, mental health counseling, and psychotherapy.

Responsabilités

• Plan, supervise, and manage clinical services provided by mental health staff and allocate resources to meet institutional needs.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision and direction to mental health staff, including performance evaluations.
• Provide mental health services to inmates and consult with facility personnel as needed.
• Coordinate with facility administrative staff and maintain confidentiality of inmate information.
• Develop and implement corrective steps to ensure quality mental health care and notify supervisory personnel of concerns.
