Job summary

Intermountain is hiring for a Mental Health School Support, Para to join our team in Helena, MT. You will supervise and support youth ages 4-14, maintain a structured environment, and help implement individualized behavior plans. Experience with EMR systems is a plus, and the role requires evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to work evening and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and manage up to 70 pounds as part of providing physical assistance and intervention when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and behavioral support to youth ages 4-14.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Implement individualized behavior plans.
• Support youth in developing coping and life skills.
• Document progress and incidents accurately using our electronic medical record system.
• Respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations.
