Job summary

Intermountain is hiring a School-Based Therapist in East Helena, MT. The role focuses on delivering individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and families, in collaboration with a broader behavioral health team.

The position requires a sixty-credit Master’s degree in the relevant field, Montana licensure or candidate status (LCPC/LCSW), and experience with adults and children. A valid driver’s license is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and strong in-house trainings.

Qualifications

• Sixty credit Master's Degree from an Accredited University in Professional Counseling, Master’s in Social Work with focus on Clinical Social Work or Psychological Counseling.
• Licensed or Licensure Candidate licensed by the State of Montana’s Board of Behavioral Health as an LCPC or LCSW.
• Two years’ experience with adults and children preferred.
• Training in attachment theory, attachment-based therapies, and trauma-informed care.
• Must possess or maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and execute individual, conjoint, and family psychotherapy.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic groups and provide in-service trainings.
• Collaborate with behavioral health staff to support client needs and family dynamics.
• For Licensed Therapist: mentor and supervise approved graduate level interns.
