Job summary

Highlands Behavioral Health System in Littleton, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate patient care within a 86-bed acute psychiatric facility. This role offers up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a commitment and a retention bonus program of $10,000 after the sign-on period.

Bilingual staff receive a $1/hour pay premium after 30 days of employment and a language assessment. Shifts are 12 hours (7am–7:30pm) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Colorado.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor’s program.
• Clinical experience in psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Safely prepare, administer and monitor medications and treatments.
• Accurately document and communicate patient information.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and nursing standards in all patient interactions.
