Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in social services with adults who have mental health issues preferred.
• Clearances: Act 33/34, Child Abuse, and FBI fingerprinting required.
• On-the-job training provided by Devereux/TCV.

Responsibilities

• Teach activities of daily living in a residential setting (shopping, cooking, hygiene, etc.).
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention.
• Facilitate planning of social/recreational activities and groups.
• Provide transportation to activities and accompany individuals in the community.
• Monitor medications and observe medication intake.
