Job description

Access Services is seeking part-time Mental Health Recovery Coaches for our Community Residential Rehabilitation Group Home in Allentown, PA. You will assist individuals with mental health needs in their homes and community, supporting them through various tasks using creative problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support program alumni in managing crises and connecting with social networks
• Maintain a caring attitude, prioritizing the needs of others
• Meet regularly with the Assistant Director for supervision
• Ensure high-quality care to meet individuals' needs
• Represent Access Services professionally
• Collaborate with state and local agencies to coordinate services
• Report operational or staff concerns as per policies
• Communicate accurately and timely with the Assistant Director
• Maintain logs and documentation in Evolv
• Attend relevant meetings
• Provide personal care as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• County CPS certification is a plus
• At least 1 year of experience in direct care or with mental health disorders
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and adequate insurance
• Two years of driving experience without suspensions in the past 48 months

Shifts

• Monday and Tuesday 3-11 PM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 3-11 PM

Compensation and Benefits

The starting rate is $17.50/hour, with shift differentials:

• $1 extra/hour for 11 PM-7 AM shifts (Monday-Friday)
• $1 extra/hour for 3 PM-11 PM and 11 PM-7 AM shifts on weekends

Overnight differential rates may vary; discuss at interview. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, referral bonuses, professional development, discounts, and tuition discounts. Working 20+ hours includes PTO, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) matching.
