Job summary

A Caring Alternative, LLC, a CARF-accredited behavioral health services provider in North Carolina, is seeking a Community Support Team member to support adults, adolescents, and children with mental illness or substance use disorders. Responsibilities include therapeutic services, case load management, and maintaining service and billing records.

Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or Social Work; 1–2 years of relevant experience; strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or related Human Services area.
• AP: 1 year of professional work experience with population served; QP: 2 years.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes including evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention, aftercare, and transition planning.
• Participate in community-based team approach to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate service and billing records communicating the services provided and consumer progress.
• Manage assigned caseload and meet the direct care productivity expectations of the organization.
