Job summary

A Caring Alternative, LLC in Morganton, NC seeks an AP/QP Generalist to serve as an active member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team, participate in team meetings, and provide input into person-centered planning.

You will apply clinical and administrative supervision to improve service quality, manage a caseload, and respond to crisis 24/7. A Bachelor's in a related field and 2 years MH experience are required; strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or closely related Human Services area.
  • Two (2) years of professional MH work experience with adults.
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Active member of the ACT Team, participates in team meetings, and provides input into person-centered planning.
  • Demonstrate ability to use clinical and administrative supervision to improve service quality and performance.
  • Manage an assigned caseload and meet direct care productivity expectations.
  • Remain available face to face or by telephone 24/7 as staff response in crisis situations.

ACTT is a team dedicated to reducing and eliminating the symptoms of severe mental illness and to enhance the individual's quality of life. The purpose of the AP/QP Generalist is to serve as a therapeutic resource to consumers as a member of an established Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT)Job Duties include:Serves as an active member of the ACT Team, participates in team meetings, and provides input into the person-centered planning processShow knowledge and use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes to include: evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planningRemain available face to face or by telephone, 24 hours a day 7 days a week as staff serves as the first responder in the event of crisis situations. The service site will be at any location the consumer or family needsEffectively use clinical and administrative supervision to improve to quality and performance of services for consumers and organizationsDemonstrate the ability to manage an assigned caseload and meet the direct care billable productivity expectations of the organizationBasic Requirements:Ability to perform tasks on the computer including working with Microsoft 360, Excel, Word and other basic programs.Valid driver’s license, auto insurance coverage and reliable transportationPass criminal background check and other regulatory checksProvide proof of your educationEducation and Experience Required:A bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or closely related Human Services areaTwo (2) years of professional MH work experience with adultsExceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Resume must include degree earned (major & minor), graduation month & year, relevant employment dates including month and year, and populations served.A Caring Alternative, LLC is a CARF accredited service provider with facilities in Asheville, Hickory, Marion, Statesville and Morganton, NC.
