Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Mental Health Professional at Calhoun State Prison in Morgan, GA. You will provide mental health case management, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy within a correctional setting.

The role requires a Masters degree and eligibility for Georgia licensure (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LAPC, LMFT); CPR and TB docs are required. Experience with mental illness preferred; background check and drug test are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Eligible for Georgia mental health professional license (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LAPC, LMFT). Active license preferred.
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug test.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Calhoun State Prison located in Morgan, Georgia.

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Minimum requirement- must be eligible for mental health professional license in Georgia (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LAPC, LMFT). Active license preferred.

Schedule:

M-F on day shift - (4x10's also available at most facilities)

Salary:

$59,740- $70,860 (depending on licensure status)
