Job summary

Lake County is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide counseling and support services to individuals, families and groups. The role includes assessments, individual/group/family therapy, and monitoring client progress with a typical caseload of 20-25, with documentation during working hours and flexible scheduling.

Requires Master’s degree in Social Work or related field, valid LICSW/LMFT/LPCC licensure, and a valid driver’s license. Open until filled per contract.

• Manage a caseload of 20-25 clients; complete documentation during working hours; no expectation to complete outside hours; substantial control over clinical schedule.

Salary

$34.83-$47.02 hourly

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing mental health counseling and support services to individuals (children and adults), families, and groups. Responsibilities may include performing specialized mental health assessments; providing individual, group, and family therapy; monitoring client progress throughout treatment; and maintaining client records. Responsible for maintaining a manageable and sustainable caseload (averages 20-25). Documentation is to be completed during working hours; there is generally no expectation to complete necessary documentation outside of working hours. Substantial control over clinical schedule.

Work Test Period

Appointee to the position must successfully complete probationary period per contract.
