Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a dedicated educator to support students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop IEPs, deliver engaging instruction, and ensure a safe, structured learning environment that promotes growth and independence.

The role requires pa Special Education certification in Pennsylvania, at least three months of experience with students with disabilities, and strong collaboration and organizational skills to lead a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PA Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans that meet each student’s needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Track progress and prepare required documentation and reports.
• Lead and support classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of student plans.
