Pyramid Healthcare, High Focus Centers – Jenkintown, PA, seeks a Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist to provide clinical leadership and direct care within the PHP setting.

The role involves facilitating therapy, coordinating treatment plans, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for clients across group, individual, and family modalities.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field.
Experience providing individual and group therapy.
Experience working with a range of mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, suicidality, OCD, autism, behavioral challenges).
Experience in PHP/IOP/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions.

Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist

Location: High Focus Centers – Jenkintown, PA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary Range: $60,000, based on education, licensure, and experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist to join our Jenkintown team. This role provides clinical support and leadership within our Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), while providing direct therapeutic services to clients.

The Lead Therapist will facilitate therapeutic programming, support treatment planning and clinical coordination, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and effective treatment environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions
Provide clinical leadership and support within the PHP program
Conduct level-of-care assessments and support appropriate treatment recommendations
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team
Address clients' behavioral and emotional needs through therapeutic interventions and crisis support
Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards
Participate in treatment team meetings and support continuity of care
Collaborate with clinical and program staff to support effective daily programming
Provide guidance and support to other therapists and clinical staff as appropriate
Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and other program activities
Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries while promoting a safe and therapeutic environment

Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field
Experience providing individual and group therapy
Experience working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, suicidality, OCD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges
Experience working in a PHP, IOP, outpatient, or other structured behavioral health setting preferred
Family therapy experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
