Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking Mental Health Interns to join their program, providing hands-on clinical experience to students.

Interns will work under supervision, gain confidence managing their own client caseload, and make a meaningful impact on those with limited access to mental health care. The internship requires a commitment to 10-24 hours per week, ideally over two semesters, and offers mentorship from experienced professionals.

This role aims to foster professional growth while contributing to compassionate mental health services in the community.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a master's degree program in Social Work or a counseling-related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player committed to forming impactful relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-office psychotherapy and counseling under supervision.
• Maintain case documentation including assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clinical team and benefit from mentorship.
• Participate in training to develop culturally competent care practices.
