Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking Mental Health Interns to join their program, providing hands-on clinical experience to students.

Interns will work under supervision, gain confidence managing their own client caseload, and make a meaningful impact on those with limited access to mental health care. The internship requires a commitment to 10-24 hours per week, ideally over two semesters, and offers mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a master's degree program in Social Work or a counseling-related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player committed to forming impactful relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

What You Will Do:

• Provide in‑office psychotherapy and counseling under the supervision of experienced clinicians.
• Maintain case documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team and benefit from direct mentorship and supervision.
• Participate in training and discussions aimed at developing culturally competent and empathetic care practices.
