Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Portland, OR, is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead scheduled therapy groups on-site. You will document sessions in the EMR, ensure licensing requirements, and comply with regulatory standards while supporting clients’ progress.

The role requires completing group notes promptly and collaborating with clinical leadership to maintain a high standard of care within a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical/Program Director and staff to develop a comprehensive therapy program.
• Deliver and present appropriate topics for scheduled groups.
• Complete group notes immediately after each group.
• Document all services in the client’s medical record.
• Adhere to DMHAS, Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements in charting.
• Participate in staff meetings and provide training on therapeutic services and mental health topics.
• Meet with clients individually for support as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Position Summary

As a Group Facilitator you will have the opportunity provide therapeutic treatment. You will do this through facilitating scheduled groups and documenting the sessions in our EMR. While in this position, you shall maintain all applicable licenses and certification requirements and at-all-times during the term of this Agreement, meet all requirements of the facility or other regulatory entity for such licensing, certification or credentialing.

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborates with Clinical Director and/or Program Director and other professional staff to help develop comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation and treatment.
• Responsible for delivering appropriate topic to scheduled groups.
• Responsible for completing all group notes immediately after leading each group.
• Document all services provided in clients medical record.
• Knowledge of company's policy and procedures, DMHAS and Joint Commission standards and regulations. Adhere to all regulations and maintain accurate and timely client charting in compliance and according to the clinical guidelines.
• Periodically participates in staff meeting, providing training with regard to therapeutic services and, mental health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director including but not limited to meeting with clients individually for support.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30AM-7PM

Work Location: On Site -Portland, OR

Compensation: Pay Range: $22-25/hr
