Job summary

Behavioral Health Link seeks licensed mental health professionals for Mobile Crisis Response teams serving Bibb County, GA and surrounding areas. The role provides rapid, face-to-face clinical assessment and crisis intervention 24/7 in homes, schools, hospitals and community settings.

Applicants must hold GA licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC or LAPC/LAMFT/LMSW) and have 1–2 years of clinical behavioral health experience. Valid GA driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
• Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills; familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and IDD service delivery systems.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face clinical assessment during crisis.
• Rapidly respond to children and adults in crisis in homes, schools, and community settings.

Join our Mobile Crisis Response teams!!! We have immediate openings in Bibb County and surrounding areas.

***YOU MUST BE LICENSED IN MENTAL HEALTH IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA TO BE CONSIDERED***

Available Shifts:

• Monday through Friday 10pm to 6 pm (FT 40hrs)
• Sunday through Wednesday 12pm to 5pm (PT 20 hrs)
• Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 10pm (Ft 40 hrs)

Position Overview

Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required.

Requirements

Education & Credentials:

• Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
• Valid CPR certification is required. You may obtain certification through organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or the Health and Safety Institute.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
• Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.
• Bi-lingual preferred

Travel Requirements

• This is a 100% mobile response position that requires a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• First responders must be able to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.
• First responders must be able to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.
• At times, driving in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.
