Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a dedicated team member to provide direct care for patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well‑being and supporting a therapeutic milieu.

Eligible candidates have a high school diploma, BLS, and up to one year of related experience; this is an onsite role with 40 scheduled hours weekly, 32‑hour evening shift, every other weekend and holiday, located at 2014 Washington Street.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; degree not required.
• BLS Certification and LNA preferred.
• 0-1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently; operate EHR system; manage multiple priorities; basic computer skills.

• Thinks and acts quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
• Displays professional boundaries in relationships with patients at all times.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing direct care to patients with psychiatric disorder; to ensure the safety and well-being of patients; to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu.

Essential Functions

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Licenses and Credentials Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred.

Experience related experience 0-1 year preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to work well collaboratively and independently. - Ability to operate within Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. - Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities successfully. - Basic computer skills. - Ability to work effectively with patients, other members of the Health Care Team, facility personnel, and families/supportive others. - Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. - Successful completion of AVADE training is required within 30 days of hire.
