The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando

• Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

• Houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and cardiac catheterization labs in the country
• Provides service excellence to over 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients annually

The role you’ll contribute:

The Consultant is a licensed clinical professional (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) who works with AdventHealth CFD team members and leaders to address barriers to mental and emotional health, supporting the organization's brand promise to Feel Whole. The Consultant provides support services, psychological first aid, work-related coping, bereavement support, and resource navigation within AdventHealth and the community. They also offer coaching, intervention, and participate in crisis support as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring outstanding customer service and respectful relationships.

• Serves as a consultant and educator on psycho-social components of mental health, tailored to healthcare workers’ needs and well-being.
• Provides short-term clinical interventions and resource navigation to resolve issues or work-life concerns, including mental health rounding.
• Offers immediate crisis intervention during or after critical incidents.
• Leads Whole Person Care Conferences to support moral injury debriefing.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work
• At least two years of experience in clinical mental health counseling or social work
