Job summary

Endurion seeks a Mental Health Clinician (MHC) to provide behavioral healthcare to SOF members and their families. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, perform case management, and participate in approved research.

This role requires a CSWE-accredited social work or equivalent degree with independent licensure (LCSW/LMFT) or an MH counseling credential, plus DHA credentialing and strong clinical skills in evidence-based therapies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in social work with CSWE accreditation and independent licensure (LCSW or equivalent).
• COAMFTE-accredited or equivalent marriage and family therapy degree with independent LMFT license.
• Master's or Doctorate in clinical mental health counseling with independent licensure and passing the NCMHCE.
• Minimum 500 hours of active practice in each of the past 3 years. DoW or VA MTF experience preferred.
• Able to meet DHA credentialing and privileging standards.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted U.S. license.
• Current BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Apply interviewing, behavioral assessment and evidence-based therapies to evaluate, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, including individual, family, group and couples therapy and alcohol/drug treatment evaluations.
• Use validated symptom inventories; assess treatment adherence and barriers; educate clients on condition and treatment.
• Maintain a client registry and perform case management.
• Consult with medical personnel, commanders and legal authorities.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement and military-specific training.
• Conduct USSOCOM/POTFF-approved applied research.
• May supervise unlicensed providers or trainees.

Summary

Provides behavioral healthcare and counseling to SOF members and their families, working closely with an interdisciplinary team, performing case management, and participating in approved research.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• One pathway required: (a) master's/doctorate in social work from a CSWE-accredited school plus independent-level licensure (LCSW or equivalent); OR (b) COAMFTE-accredited (or equivalent) marriage and family therapy degree, independent-level LMFT license, and AAMFT clinical fellow membership; OR (c) master's/doctorate in clinical mental health counseling, independent-level licensure, and passing the NCMHCE or equivalent.


• Experience in brief behavioral interventions.


• Able to meet DHA credentialing and privileging standards.

Required Minimum Experience

Minimum 500 hours of active practice in each of the past 3 years. DoW or VA MTF experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.


• Document all encounters in HPDMS per USSOCOM Directive 10-12.


• For embedded field positions, where the task order requires: meet SOF training physical demands (hiking rough terrain, austere environments, aircraft and watercraft) and lift up to 25 kg.


• Maintain 100% compliance with local mandatory command training.


• Current, full, active, unrestricted U.S. license.


• Current BCLS.


• Meet DHA-PM 6025.13 credentialing; be eligible for privileges without a supervision plan.


• Satisfy BOTH the Appendix 1 minimum experience and the credentialing authority's current-competency standard (separate gates).
