The University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington seeks a clinical lead to support day-to-day problem solving for the mental health team, assist with clinical assignments as needed, and collaborate with the Site Medical Director to develop staffing schedules.

You will mentor clinicians, facilitate professional development and annual goals, promote evidence-based practice, support program development and quality improvement, and orient new staff to the team.

Formación

• Leadership in healthcare settings
• Experience mentoring clinical staff
• Experience in motivational interviewing/stages of change desirable
• Proven ability to develop staffing schedules and manage team workflows

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day problem solving for the workgroup and assist with clinical assignments when needed
• Develop and maintain staffing schedules
• Provide clinical mentorship including development and yearly goals
• Collaborate with Site Medical Director to identify growth areas and define standards of care via program development and quality improvement
• Promote evidence-based practice through research, literature, and valid measurement tools
• Help healthcare team adapt practice to advances in the field
• Collaborate with program leadership in orienting new staff
