Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Victorville, CA seeks a Mental Health Clinician/ Therapist for the Desert Hill Crisis Residential Treatment program. The role includes client assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a starting salary of $70,000–$75,000 per year, with on-site work Monday–Friday and every third weekend. Master’s degree and CA BBS Associate licensure required; First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field (recent graduates welcome).
• California BBS licensure as an Associate (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW) or in process.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients at start of treatment and develop treatment plans.
• Conduct family collateral and discharge planning.
• Interview clients to determine needs with mental health professionals.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate care in a Crisis Residential Treatment setting.
• Document progress and report changes to supervising staff.
