Qualifications

• Experience in providing mental health services to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, psychosocial assessments, and crisis intervention.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in behavioral, social sciences, humanities, or education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and clinical assessments; provide on-site assessments and develop intervention.
• Provide crisis assessments and supports as deemed necessary.
• Coordinate referrals and case management; provide continuity of care with area jails.
• Prepare progress notes and other required documentation.
• Advocate with legal entities for persons with mental illness.
• Provide ongoing case management upon release from jail.
