Job summary

Mercer Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health case worker to join our team. You will provide outpatient mental health services that demonstrate cultural sensitivity and meet the needs of designated MBH consumers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field.
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

Responsibilities

• Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Adhere to all MBH and licensing standards
• Develop and/or implement treatment plans for adults (ages 18-75) with persistent and severe mental illness
• Participate and lead therapeutic groups and activities and function as an active member of the team.
• Assume overall case management responsibilities for assigned consumers including coordination and liaison with other community agencies, healthcare systems and providers.
• Maintain appropriate patient records according to the time frames and quality guidelines established by MBH and applicable accrediting organizations standards.
