Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a clinical setting. Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and help coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges across departments.

You will maintain accurate documentation in the EMR, ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper use of equipment, and participate in ongoing infection prevention and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Document vital signs, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision of RN and prepare rooms.
• Coordinate tests and treatments across departments and communicate observations to RN.
