Job summary

The Hospital Utilization Specialist at PermiaCare manages Rapid Crisis Stabilization and Private Psychiatric Bed bed day tracking, compiling data from multiple agencies and triage information daily. You will support resource availability during crises and work with limited supervision, reporting major activities in meetings.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, QMHP certification within 6 months, and a valid Texas driver's license. Some travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field, or 30+ credit hours in related areas.
• QMHP certification within 6 months is required.
• Valid Texas driver's license and auto insurance; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record triage data by tracking daily RCS beds and follow up with discharges.
• Enter data into the EHR and reporting forms; submit monthly bed day reports.
• Audit bed days and ensure timely documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional behavior; travel as needed.
