Mental Health Associate Therapist - Outpatient

Join us at Discovery Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Associate Therapist - Outpatient. We are a leading provider in behavioral healthcare, offering treatment for mental health, eating disorders, and substance use. This position is based in Tigard, Oregon, and requires in-person work from Monday to Friday, 9AM-7PM.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $67,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and geographic region.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services within a multidisciplinary team, including individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and case management.
• Ensure timely clinical documentation and compliance with quality standards.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families, facilitating admissions, discharge planning, and ongoing care coordination.
• Participate in treatment planning, crisis management, and outreach activities.
• Support clinical team members and contribute to a positive treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field (required)
• State-required therapeutic intervention certification
• Supervised practice, not fully licensed
• Ability to obtain CPI, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications within 90 days
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
