Job summary

St.Vincent's Hospital Westchester is seeking a Per Diem Mental Health Aide to provide direct therapeutic services to residents under supervision, including crisis intervention and medication management, while assisting with daily living activities. Experience in mental health or residential settings is preferred; a high school diploma is required with associates or bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health, substance abuse and/or residential setting.
• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have basic writing and communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapeutic services to residents, including crisis intervention and medication management.
• Train residents in activities of daily living and daily living skills.
• Maintain the physical environment of the residence and ensure policy adherence.
