Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital's Central Access team is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator Lead for a full-time day position (Wed-Sat, 7:30 am-6:00 pm). The role emphasizes intake operations, performance metrics, and coordinating with clinical and financial teams to ensure smooth patient access and timely service.

You will lead staff, improve processes, and support patients in crisis through collaboration with emergency services and mental health resources.

Qualifications

• 3 years of patient access experience.
• Education: High school or GED.
• Preferred experience with emergency services or mental health crises.

Responsibilities

• Oversees intake operations and monitors performance indicators (KPIs).
• Leads process improvements and trains staff on new tools and system updates.
• Monitors satisfaction and leads service recovery efforts concerning patient inquiries and issues.
• Leads messaging initiatives, coaches staff, and promotes service equity among patients.
