Tailored Brands, Inc. seeks an Associate Designer, Woven and Shoes to join the menswear fashion design team in New York.

The role supports design concepts, develops fabrics, colors, and finishes for seasonal collections, and coordinates with cross-functional partners to push designs from concept to lab dips. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of design experience in menswear, strong sketching and technical design skills, and proficiency with Illustrator, PLM, Photoshop and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, merchandising, or related field.
• 2–3 years of design experience.
• Specialized knowledge in men’s fashion, merchandising and technical design.
• Experience with garment construction, trims, fabrics, and fit.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to manage deadlines with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify silhouettes, fabrics, colors for seasonal initiatives.
• Adhere to calendars and collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve issues.
• Approve lab dips and guide fabric/trim feedback with clear direction.
• Define product details aligning with the design roadmap.
• Collaborate across product development, fabric/trim, technical design, production and buying.
• Create, submit and update tech packs.
• Support Design Director in seasonal brand development and presentations.
