Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Good technical skill and knowledge of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with special requests in the selling process.
• Perform alterations and pressing to ensure attractive fit.
• Ensure proper garment fit and answer customer questions.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press as required.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and help teammates.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Ensure customers are properly sized and advise wardrobe options.
• Provide excellent service throughout the customer experience.
• Support multiple store locations or brands when needed.
