Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Low-Code Application Developer to own Mendix-based applications and modernize critical systems. You’ll balance rapid support with long-term improvements, collaborating with IT leadership and vendors in an onsite role based in McLean, VA.

Qualifications include a CS/IS degree and 3+ years' experience with SQL, API design, and web tech. Preferred: Mendix/PowerApps, Git, and CI/CD, with a focus on maintainability and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting custom software applications.
• Experience with SQL querying and API/service-based integrations.
• Experience with legacy / brownfield systems and web tech (HTML/CSS/JS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner for Mendix-based internal apps.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy applications for stability.
• Analyze and reverse-engineer systems to understand business logic.
• Design improvements for long-term maintainability and APIs for integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate workflows into technical solutions.
• Document architecture, behavior, and dependencies for support.
