Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a skilled Mendix Developer to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program.

You will design, develop, and deploy Mendix-based applications for transportation and logistics operations, collaborating with stakeholders and architects to deliver scalable, secure solutions. The role requires 3+ years of software development with Mendix, a Secret clearance, and a US citizenship.

Qualifications

• : 3+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years of Mendix development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro and Mendix platform architecture.
• Experience with domain modeling, microflows, and page design in Mendix.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services integration.
• Understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL for data queries and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git).
• Team player skills to collaborate with other teams.
• Build out wireframes from requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform
• Create and maintain domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and page layouts in Mendix Studio Pro
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration
• Build responsive user interfaces that meet accessibility and usability standards
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems, databases, and APIs
• Implement custom widgets and modules using JavaScript, Java, or React when needed
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Mendix best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with government standards
• Support application deployments across development, test, and production environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with Mendix platform updates and new features
