Job summary

CACI International seeks a Mendix Developer to support the JTMS program. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise Mendix applications for transportation and logistics operations within a defense context.

Qualifications include Mendix Studio Pro expertise, 2+ years Mendix, and a Secret clearance. You will collaborate with analysts, integrate with external systems, and contribute to security-compliant deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years of Mendix development
• Strong proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro and Mendix platform architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform
• Create and maintain domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and page layouts in Mendix Studio Pro
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration
• Build responsive user interfaces that meet accessibility and usability standards
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems, databases, and APIs
• Implement custom widgets and modules using JavaScript, Java, or React when needed
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Mendix best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with government standards
• Support application deployments across development, test, and production environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with Mendix platform updates and new features
