Job summary

Kith is seeking a Men's Technical Design Assistant to support the Technical Design Department. The role reports to the Head of Men's Technical Design and demands strong organizational and time-management skills, along with a passion for technical design and reliability.

The position is full-time and on-site at our Williamsburg/Brooklyn HQ, with responsibilities spanning tech packs, fit sessions, and collaboration with vendors to ensure top-tier garment quality and construction.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in Technical Design.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design.
• Contemporary/high-end brand or menswear experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create / develop detailed Tech Packs for factories with precise specifications.
• Move designs from handoff through production to meet aesthetics.
• Measure and examine samples against specs for fittings.
• Provide technical direction on specs, construction methods, and fit.
• Ensure products conform to brand standards and quality.
• Collaborate with designers, merchants and vendors on fit and aesthetic details.
• Translate design intent into prototype samples and provide feedback.
