Job summary

Kith is seeking a Men's Technical Design Assistant to support the Technical Design Department in our HQ in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. You will create tech packs, communicate specs to factories, and help ensure fit, construction, and quality align with our high-end brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in technical design, a fashion/technical design degree, strong organizational skills, patternmaking knowledge, and proficiency with Gerber Accumark and Adobe/Google tools.

Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in technical design.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design.
Experience in a contemporary/high-end brand is preferred, menswear is a plus.
Strong patternmaking, draping, and garment construction knowledge.
Proficiency with Gerber Accumark and the standard design tools.

Responsibilities

Create / develop detailed Tech Packs to factories/vendors with precise specs.
Measure & examine samples against specs to prepare for fittings.
Collaborate with designers, merchants and vendors on fit, pattern and construction.
Ensure grading, fit consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
Participate in weekly fit sessions and provide construction feedback.
Assist in translating design intent into prototypes and bulk production checks.
Support ongoing process improvements within Technical Design.
