Job summary

o5 group seeks a trend-driven Designer to lead concept-to-creation for Men’s Swim and related apparel. You will translate market insights into seasonal collections, driving color, fabric, washes, trims, print/graphics, and silhouette strategy, partnering with graphics, technical design, production, and vendors for elevated product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fashion/apparel design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Proven success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and tech pack creation.
• Experience collaborating with overseas factories and domestic vendors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design process—from concept, color, wash, finishes, and trim details to final execution.
• Shop the market and conduct competitive analysis to translate trends into on-trend assortments (focus on denim).
• Build seasonal stories: mood boards, theme direction, sample rigging, and trend presentations; align with design leadership.
• Collaborate with print/graphics and cross-functional teams to execute a clear seasonal vision.
• Work with sample room and local vendors to develop prototypes and presentation samples.
• Collaborate with technical design and production on fit and quality approvals.
