Job summary

The American Society of Interior Designers is seeking a Men’s Sportswear Graphic Designer to design men’s activewear collections and create trend-relevant graphics for apparel such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and headwear.

This ongoing temporary role offers the chance for permanent conversion based on performance, with a fast-paced environment that values creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in graphic design, apparel design, or a related role.
• Experience designing graphics for men’s sportswear or activewear.
• Strong understanding of apparel graphics and print design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of fashion trends, colour, fabrics, and garment construction.
• Detail-oriented and highly organised.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal men’s activewear and sportswear collections.
• Create original graphics and artwork for T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, headwear, and other sportswear.
• Research trends, colours, graphics, and market insights to develop innovative product concepts.
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to bring concepts to life.
• Apply knowledge of fabric, colour, and garment construction to design concepts.
• Translate trend research and market insights into commercially relevant product.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
